Replace Telescopes on the MB Pier with Telescopes

The mission of the LMB 2015 class project is to enhance the Manhattan Beach pier as the place where the community and visitors can be inspired by the scenic beauty of the South Bay. Our goal is to replace the two telescopes on the Manhattan Beach pier with state-of-the-art binocular telescopes on the pier and two more on the observation corners of the two strand upper parking lots. Additionally, we will install educational panels at each of these locations, highlighting aspects of our beautiful town’s history, geography, and marine life.
