Bicycle Repair Stations

The Leadership Manhattan Beach Class of 2018 (LMB 2018) installed public-use Bike FixIt Stations to further encourage the city’s goal of eco-friendly and healthy lifestyles while promoting community engagement. FixIt Stations are made by Dero, a Minneapolis-based company, and include all of the tools necessary to perform basic bike repairs, from changing a flat tire to adjusting brakes and derailleurs. The tools are attached to the stand with stainless steel cables, and the stand includes bike hanger arms to allow pedals and wheels to spin freely while making adjustments.
